Privacy & Media Use Policy

By hiring or working with Madlight Films LLC, you agree to the following terms regarding media and promotional use:

  • Madlight Films may capture and share behind-the-scenes (BTS) footage, setup photos, and final project snippets for portfolio and social media purposes (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, company website).

  • This includes organic, unpaid promotional posts that showcase our work and creative process.

  • Paid advertising use (such as sponsored or boosted posts) will only occur with your prior written consent and may include additional terms or compensation.

  • If you do not wish for your project or likeness to appear in any BTS or social content, you must notify Madlight Films in writing before production begins.

  • All ownership and usage rights for final project deliverables remain subject to your main production agreement.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that unexpected things happen, and we aim to handle cancellations fairly for both parties.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled project start time are subject to a 25% fee of the total project cost. This helps cover crew scheduling, prep time, and any pre-production costs already incurred.

  • Deposits or retainers are generally non-refundable, unless cancellation is due to circumstances caused by Madlight Films.

  • In the event of force majeure (also known as acts of God — e.g., severe weather, illness, accidents, or events beyond either party’s control), both parties will work in good faith to reschedule the project. If rescheduling isn’t possible, partial refunds or credits may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • If Madlight Films must cancel or postpone a project due to unforeseen circumstances, all deposits will be refunded or applied to a rescheduled date.

Madlight Films LLC (“Madlight Films,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides video production, photography, and creative media services. By booking, inquiring, or using our services in any way, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following terms.

1. Services

Madlight Films provides creative production services as described in written agreements, quotes, or proposals.
Project scope, deliverables, and pricing are defined in your individual contract or estimate. Any changes to the scope may result in revised costs or delivery timelines.

2. Booking & Payment

  • A deposit or retainer may be required to secure your project date. This amount will be applied toward your total project cost.

  • Remaining balances are due as stated in your invoice or service agreement.

  • Late payments may be subject to a fee or paused delivery until payment is received.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

In short:

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of a project start time are subject to a 25% fee of the total project cost. (Subject to change based on contracts)

  • Deposits/retainers are non-refundable unless cancellation is caused by Madlight Films.

  • In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, illness, emergencies), both parties will work in good faith to reschedule.

4. Creative Control

Madlight Films retains creative control over its production methods, style, and editing approach unless otherwise specified in writing.
Client feedback is welcome, and revisions will be provided as outlined in your contract. Additional changes beyond the agreed scope may incur extra costs.
