Founded in 2022, Madlight Films began with a simple belief: to create work that stands out and that we can be proud of.
We started small—three post-college roommates pooling together money to buy a single pocket 4k kit and we had a vision to create films. Today, we're still that same tight-knit team, but now we get to work with big brands doing what we love.
What sets us apart isn't just our craft—it's our approach. We believe in deep collaboration, bold ideas, and work that feels authentic. Every project is personal. Every frame matters.

Solomon Cisneros
Director
Shortly after graduating UNT, I found myself at MLD Equipment Rental in Dallas, a grip house where I worked for 3 years, eventually becoming the Manager. I then moved on to freelance as a 1st AC, cam op, and DP working on short films, music videos, ads and more! Now I produce and direct with Madlight Films where I hope to keep creating art with amazing brands along with creating content for social media along the way.
Robby Cisneros
Director of Photography
I began my career in video production as a cinematographer with AUME Media. Through a variety of projects from sports media with NFL players, to music videos in indie, edm, and r and b, to feature film documentaries, I have continued to hone my skills, and try new ideas.
Harrison Smith
Writer
Stories have been told since we could share them, and my passion is to share my stories with the world. Some of my favorite writers who have inspired me are Paul Thomas Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, Richard Linklater, and Billy Wilder.
